Our school raised a total of $1,084. 100% of these proceeds will be donated to the American Autism Association. Grade 5 will be treated to a dress down. They donated the highest % for the jar change collection.
It was a special day in our school today. Students learned about the history of St. Rita from Fr. Eugene in our school lobby in front of our beautiful statue. I then treated all of the students to ice pops to celebrate the day.
A great night was had by all that attended. We have many talented students. Thank you to Mrs. Weingarten for organizing Lip Sync. Thank you to Ms. Trunacle for the band concert.
Their projects were selected to represent our school at the Staten Island S.S. Expo on 5/16. Faye in grade 5, Daniel in grade 6, Amanda B. in grade 7, and Joseph A. in grade 8.
