This week we begin Unit 2:  My Five Senses.  The children will learn that our senses help us explore, investigate and understand the world around us.

1. Wednesday, October 5th is picture day.  Packets were sent home on Friday.  Children are to wear their school uniform.

2. Please send in a finished cardboard tube from a roll of toilet paper or paper towels.  Thank you.

1. Our class continues to use their senses to explore the world around us.  This week we are learning about our sense of hearing.

2. Tomorrow is a $2.00 pink dress down day.

3. Today the ASQ-3 and the ASQ SE screening packet were sent home in your child's folder.   Please read through all of the pages and complete the screening.  Please send it back to school as soon as you are done, but no later than Monday, October 17th.

This week we will be exploring our sense of smell. The children will have the opportunity to smell various items and identify them. 

1. Please return all surveys, they were due back today.

This week the class is investigating the sense of touch.  We will discuss how things can feel, smooth, rough, hard, soft, sharp, hot or cold.

Students may dress in their costume (no masks or weapons) on Monday, October 31st.  If they do not wish to wear their costume, they may wear black and orange.  We will have our trunk or treat event. Each student will pick their own pumpkin in our Pumpkin Patch and decorate it.

1. Wednesday, November 2nd is a scratch off dress down day.  Students can bring in one scratch off to donate.
