Class projects: Journal page of objects made from shapes and Drawing and painting a color resist spiderweb of irregular shapes
Homework: Draw lines to divide a page of your art notebook into 4 boxes. Draw one of these shapes in each box: circle, square, triangle, rectangle. Now, make a drawing out of each shape. (example: Make the triangle into a christmas tree with decorations). Color all of your drawings with crayons.
Please, never use markers in notebook. (Due September 27)

Make a poster about your life.
Step 1: Draw and color (or paint) a caricature of yourself in the center
of an 18X12 posterboard.
Step 2: Use photos of yourself and family members and friends
to show your life from the day you were born until today.
Step 3: Add magazine pictures or drawings of things (toys, games)
or foods (pizza, ice cream) and places that you like.
Step 4: Decorate your poster with stickers, glitter
and anything else to make it pretty!
