This week in PKFA, our focus questions will be:
When do things happen at school? & Who works at our school?
Monday: What do we do when we first get to school? (Give choices)
Tuesday: What do you think this book is about? (Book: Kevin & His Dad)
Wednesday: Have you seen this person at our school? (School workers)
Thursday: Does this man go to our school? (gingerbread man)
Friday: Where did the gingerbread man go?
Also, we will be reviewing the letter Ww for workers (school workers).

Monday, 9/30 - School Spirit Day
Friday, October 4th - Picture Day. (Students are to wear their full winter uniform)
You can return the order forms to school or place orders online.
Please fill out and return forms that are in your child's folder if you have not done so yet.

Dress Down Money:
Monthly dress downs are held for different fundraising events. All money should be currency only. No coins, including foreign coins and play tokens should be sent in. All bills should be sent in an envelope with your child’s name.

Unit 1-Welcome to PKFA
We have many exciting things planned this year. To start the year, we will be focusing on getting to know one another and building friendships. We will go over classroom routines extensively and do many activities centered on working together. We hope this will help every child become a part of our classroom community and feel comfortable with their new classmates and teachers.Monday, September 23rd: $2 Autumn Dress Down day
Birthdays
Please remember any treat you send in for your child’s birthday has to be prepacked with nutritional information on the box. We have students with specific dietary needs that have to be followed. Unfortunately, goody bags are not allowed to be given out in school.

Friday: What do you do after you wake up in the morning?
Also, we will be reviewing the letter Rr for rules.
